The program Big Brazil on TV was created in 2001 by Adriane Bonato & Andréa Moreira, to take away the illusions of Brazil being the 3^rd world, showing the audience the best of Brazil in tourism, arts, entertainment, music, cinema, culture and general events. Not only that but the program shows what happens in the US to the Brazilian immigrants; shows, events, interviews, restaurants, tourism points, Brazilian nights in other nationalities council and immigrant information, cultural agenda, and information on health, education and entertainment.

The program has a direct language clear and fast images always trying to show the opposite of the facts Big Brazil on TV brings to everyone the best and shows any type of nationality events that happen in and out of Brazil and the US.

Through the program the Americans get to know a similar Brazil, which is similar to their country. It’s through this same program that we’re reminding the Brazilians of these same similarities and making them have this power of “analogy”.

Well, where’s the 3^rd world? Statue of Liberty – Cristo Redentor, Shea Stadium – Maracanã, Malibu Beach – Copacabana, 5^th Ave – Av. Paulista, etc… These similarities are our tools of work, it’s through them is a very delicate way and no way comparing, we give precious information on two different countries which at the sum of it all come out to be very similar. The difference is the only and exclusively question recognized by any marketer. Don’t they say that the advertising is it the soul of the business? Especially, the advertising “mouth to mouth”. Well, who makes the better advertising? The Americans? With their day to day flag which they drag around on the 4^th of July; or the Brazilians? With their flags at the World Cup and on its today rarely September 7^th. To have this “mouth to mouth” you need knowledge and that is what we from Big Brazil on TV have the responsibility to bring to our spectators.

The search for the hidden patriotism but very strong within every Brazilian, is a reason so that the program can be created. Big Brazil on TV shows that Brazil really has its value and even more, its people and its soul.

And it is by awakening the memories of every Brazilian in or out of its frontier that we’ll unite our people and reaffirm that our nation has its immense value.
